This Privacy Policy describes how Meridian collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the operation of its API infrastructure platform. This Policy applies to information processed in the course of operating, securing, and improving the Meridian service, and is distinct from any Data Processing Agreement governing Customer Content processed on behalf of a Customer as a data processor, which is addressed separately.

Edge Telemetry Data

In the course of routing inference requests across its Anycast edge network, Meridian collects telemetry data including request timestamps, response latency, originating PoP, provider health scores, and error codes (“Edge Telemetry Data”). Edge Telemetry Data is collected at the infrastructure level to support routing, failover, and capacity planning, and is processed in a manner that does not require access to the substantive content of Customer prompts or model outputs, which are not retained beyond the operational window required to complete the request unless Customer has separately enabled logging.

Data Processing

Meridian processes account and billing information, support communications, and Edge Telemetry Data for the purposes of operating the platform, providing customer support, detecting and preventing abuse, and meeting contractual and legal obligations. Meridian does not sell personal information and does not use Customer Content transiting the platform to train any underlying model absent a separate, explicit agreement with Customer permitting such use.

GDPR Compliance

Where Meridian processes personal data subject to the General Data Protection Regulation, it does so on the legal bases of contractual necessity, legitimate interest in maintaining platform security and reliability, or compliance with legal obligation, as applicable to the specific processing activity. Data subjects located in the European Economic Area may exercise applicable rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability by submitting a request through the channels designated in Customer’s account settings or by contacting Meridian’s designated privacy contact.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in processing activities or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to Customers through the registered account contact prior to taking effect.
