API Usage
Access to the Meridian platform, including the Meridian Edge Router, Inference Gateway, and any associated SDKs (collectively, the “API”), is governed by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). By generating an API key, integrating the Meridian SDK, or otherwise transmitting requests through Meridian infrastructure, Customer agrees to use the API solely for lawful purposes consistent with the documentation made available at the time of integration. Customer is responsible for the security of its API credentials and for all activity conducted under its account, including activity originating from compromised credentials, unless such compromise resulted directly from Meridian’s failure to meet its security obligations under Section 9 (Security).
Rate Limiting
Meridian enforces rate limits and concurrency ceilings on a per-account and, where applicable, per-tenant basis as specified in the applicable order form or default plan tier. Meridian reserves the right to throttle, queue, or reject requests that exceed the applicable rate limit, and reserves the right to adjust default rate limits upon thirty (30) days’ written notice, except in circumstances of active abuse, security incident, or upstream provider constraint, in which case adjustments may take effect immediately with notice provided as soon as reasonably practicable.
SLA Guarantees
Meridian warrants the uptime and latency commitments set forth in the applicable Service Level Agreement incorporated by reference into the relevant order form. Service credits, where available, constitute Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any failure to meet such commitments. SLA guarantees do not apply to degradation or unavailability arising from Customer’s own infrastructure, third-party model provider outages routed through Customer-specified failover configurations, scheduled maintenance windows communicated in advance, or events of force majeure.
Termination
Either party may terminate the applicable order form for convenience upon the notice period specified therein, or immediately for the other party’s material breach that remains uncured for thirty (30) days following written notice. Meridian may suspend API access immediately, without prior notice, where Customer’s usage poses a security risk to the platform, violates applicable law, or materially exceeds contracted usage in a manner Customer fails to remediate after notice. Upon termination, Customer’s right to access the API ceases immediately, and Meridian will make Customer data available for export for a period of thirty (30) days, after which such data may be deleted in accordance with Meridian’s data retention policy.
